Service Parts |
|
|
| When Replacing Inserts:
Blow all chips and coolant away from the insert and the surrounding area BEFORE releasing and removing a worn insert, and then blow off the open tool holder pocket before reinserting or replacing the insert. |
| Every Two Years:
Disassemble the tool holder, clean all parts in solvent, and reassemble, filling the inside working volume with Slick 50® Grease. Use a drop of Locktite® on the retaining screws. No special tools are required. |
| In Case of Accidents:
To replace the carbide insert seat, or 'shim' you must first disassemble the tool holder. The shim is a standard ISO shim insert, and is available from your insert supplier, or from Axian Technology. Other components are available as service parts. |
|
| All internal components in every Click Change tool holder are available as replacement parts. Axian sells 'repair kits' for each of it's tool holders. The kits are not offered for on-line ordering. Call the factory for availability, pricing, and part numbers. |
| Shim Kit:
This repair kit includes the carbide insert seat, and the screw that holds it in place. |
| Cam Kit:
This repair kit includes the Drive Spring, and the Cam Rod. |
| Clamp Kit:
This repair kit includes the Clamp Axle rod, the Insert Clamp Lever, the Clamp Lift Spring, and the set screws needed for assembly. Locktite® is recommended when re-assembling |
